Throttle cable advice

Hi,
Can anybody help please, I’ve bought a tornado mark 1 with a Ford 302ci & need a replacement throttle cable but not sure of the length I need & the best place to buy from, I’m in the uk but happy to buy from the USA if needed, the cable runs freely at the carburettor end but not smooth at the pedal end, or any tips on how to make smooth

honestly it's best to have a race shop make you one, it's a pretty important cable. If it's not large enough and it kinks it can create a big problem

Hi,

Have replaced with the custom made cable from Pegasus and the result is superb! Almost different car and can enjoy even street drive with such a smooth acceleration.

Thread 'Adjustable throttle cable mount for sliding pedals'

What have people done for a throttle cable mount for the RCR 40 with the sliding pedal mount. Needs to be adjustable to move with the pedals. Is there an adjustable cable mount that slides like the main unit?
