Way COOL!! Loved the ones over the water  !

I worked my way through high school and college on a large cattle ranch/farm in SE Colorado.....one day I was driving a tractor (pulling a "one-way") after lunch....my belly was full, the weather was warm, the constant drone of the tractor's diesel engine was almost putting me to sleep....when all of a sudden I was "buzzed" from behind by a small, single engine aircraft. It was the boss's son, who made the 150 mile trip between his home and the ranch in his small airplane. His landing gear could not have been more than 10 feet above my head and I had ABSOLUTELY no idea it was going to happen.

I've never experienced an adrenaline rush like that since, despite living what most characterize as a rather daredevil-like lifestyle. I bet every hair on my body stood full up for 30 minutes, and I know I watched the sky for 3 days afterward, expecting that it would happen again!

Cheers from Doug!

Cliff-
I remember back in the Viet Nam era when the F-111's first flew, one of the pilots was saying that for a real E ticklet ride you need to be in an F-111 at minimum altitude, 500 knots plus, coming out of a fog bank....
