Toyota Truck Torture

Top Gear bought a Toyota pickup truck with 190,000 miles. They then proceed to torture the truck to find out how tough it is.

Among the other things they do to it, they drop a caravan on top of it and later they set it on fire.

They also stick it on top of a tow block which is then blown up, and leave it on a slip way so it gets totally flooded by the sea. Amazingly, once the battery is reconnected and the diesel system reprimed, it starts !

I was at the show for the final program when they wheeled it in. The chassis was broken in half, and dropping the caravan on it made it decidedly banana shaped /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
