transcontinental shippers

Hi all,

I know this has been covered before, but I
need a quick answer.

I need to look for a reliable shipper to
bring a street rod from Maryland to NorCal.
Anybody have some good experiences and contact
info?

Thx,

Ian

Have you tried Movingchoice.com? They have a list of automovers that will send you quotes based on the various movers in your area or requiremwnts. Check them out.

Ian and all interested, give Dennis McNamara a call at Dependable Auto Shippers. The phone number is 1-800-626-2505. He bent over backwards to ship my car from South Africa to my door without a scratch and really worked to save me money. I know they could handle the coast to coast carraige. His email is [email protected]

Ian, Go here call and talk to Colin. He goes out there once a week to pick up FFR cobra kits and delivers them out here in the west. He also carries other type of cars as well. It might be cheaper cause you are sharing the load. His equipment is state of the art. http://www.stewarttransport.com/

Thanks for all the replies.

Hersh, I was leaning towards Stewart due to
FFR's use of them as well.

I'll let you all know how it goes. It looks
like the car will be stored at mi casa for
a while (it's not mine

Hope my wife
doesn't mind !! A bright orange '34 Ford
Coupe.

It can't stay long though, it looks like I
might be buying an FFR Cobra to build. Need
something to keep me busy before I get the
40!

Good luck Ian. I still think you should start with a starter kit GT40.

You get what you really want in the long run.
I have a 34 Ford Vicky. I've been a hot rodder since 1961...
