Can anybody tell me what type of axle this is (i don't know the exact english word for it

That appears to be a stock DeTomaso Pantera upright and axle.

Do you know where i can find a fitting connection (name?) for this axle to the driveshaft
And yes it is rusty but not my falt i've got the car since yesterday and the axle has been like this since 1992 i've been told /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif

Try this place, looks like they used all Pantera parts, type -2 ZF and hubs etc, it should work fine except the engine may be a bit too high for a 40, but it did worked well on the Pantera.
