Pete, I know you're a big fan but did you know that Each & Every Year the V8 Racing Green program plants 15,000 trees to offset the carbon emissions from the racing series?

Kind of warms the cockles of your heart mate doesn't it?

So, apart from the spec chassis, identical suspension wheels and brakes, identical transaxles and gear ratios, identical bodywork footprint and parity engine specs, it's a pretty exciting series with no less than FIVE cutting edge car designs don'tcha think? :thumbsup:

They'll be painting on the headlights next.....

No I didn't know that Keith. But It wouldn't surprise. The new CEO of V8SC is trying to turn it into the Aussie version of NASCRAP. I don't bother watching anymore with the exception of Bathurst. Warburton the CEO has made a tactical error for next year taking the series away from free T.V. And giving it to pay to view FoxSports. Most of the Bogans.. That's Rednecks to you who watch V8SC can't afford Foxtel.
I'd rather watch formula ford.

I am really excited about the 5 different car makes competing in V8 Supercars though. I'm sure it will influence my decision which car I buy.. :)

Fortunately, they discovered that those sneaky Swedes had built an engine 20kgs lighter than everyone else's (probably that 180 degree crank) and the Volvos were kicking everyone's ass because they put the correcting ballast low down and in the centre. The nice and trustworthy V8 management made Volvo put the ballast on top of the engine quite a way forward. That slowed them down! Now, Holden and Ford can win again!

It just gets better.

In response to Pete's comment about being only available on Pay TV, well, I think that's perfect. They can eat cake (and sip champagne) while they're watching.

Well Warburton and his cronies eat cake and sip champers while the series goes to hell in a hand basket.
As you have nicely pointed out Keith V8SC is a joke.
