Can anyone point me to a video editing programme that allows for either split screen or overlapping to enable in-car video to be shown for comparison at live time ? Thanks, Frank
HI Frank, most editing programs should be able to do this, but in some it is not obvious. Often a transition can be set between the two streams of video (A roll/B roll) and fixed at a point some way through the transition rather than doing the transition. Are you on PC or Mac? For complex effects such as mixed zooms and pans with overlays Adobe After Effects is very, very good... but expensive.

I use Sony Vegas 7, and it copes with most stuff. Not sure how much it costs these days. I find it can do most video editing functions very well, and is easy (ish) to get used to.
