I just returned from a road trip up to Seattle and some time in the Siskiyou's. I met Cary at Reno during the last Cobra Bash. I was so impressed with his recreation of 1075, I decided to visit his shop on my next trip north. I have no relationship with Cary or DRB but I wanted to see what his operation looked like and get a feel for his background. As people are always asking which kit etc., it is nice to get familiar with the players. I was very pleased with what I saw and learned about Cary. I had already met Peter Ransom on a visit to a Sandown historics event. The workmanship on Cary's personal car is outstanding and I marveled at his quality. Then I found out that he has been doing this sort of thing for years. Back in the 80's he was doing Contemporary Cobras and in fact was rebuilding one that he built for a client 15 years ago. He also had a very nice yellow and black GT40(Ron you would have drooled on this one)that he will start on shortly. Cary has also done some lcal racing and built a very nice 45' motorhome on a bus chassis. So if any of you are wondering about what kit to buy I suggest you give C&G Automotive and the DRB a good close look.
