Wag the dog...

While watching the latest BJ auction tonight from Nevada there were several cars listed as "re-creations". Is this ident the newest from the creative/legal department to get these cars into a "special" category? The term seemed to come into play for any car that had original bits but was not finished under number matching restoration.

I think that after some serious focus-testing they realized that the term "fakey-doo" wouldn't result in bids that were as high as "re-creation".
