Want a extendable work light under the hood?

I wanted to have an extendable work light on my car and at the suggestion of one of the guys at the paint shop doing my car, I have ordered one. Some of you may know that Chevrolet has put such a light under the hood of its '91-'98 pickups (I believe that is the range of years) that nicely fits the bill. I have been unable to find a used one locally, so I ordered it from a local dealer. At $55, I didn't think it was toooo bad. I realy expected it to be more.

I used to have a car with a removable light under the hood, but now I can't remember which one it was.

The bit about Chevy putting trouble lights under the hoods of their trucks is a perfect setup for someone who bleeds Ford blue. Who's gonna take the bait? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

If you're a stickler about Blue Oval parts, Ford had 'em too. I had an '81 Bronco Lariat, with a small magnetic light under the hood, on a retracting reel. It had about 15' of cord. Probably available at your local junkyard for $10!
