water problem ?

I know you should´nt be driving in the rain....
but if you do what about the water what comes into the holes of the chassis at the back by the lower push rods ?
are there solutions for ?

Driving in the rain wouldn't be the only thing - some of the engine compartment fumes I'd rather avoid inhaling if at all possible...

There are a number of flexible plastic plugs for just this sort of thing. Certainly the seal could be improved using either duct tape or gum...

Hi Frank,
The water which can get by the lower trailing arms should not be able to enter the cockpit as the main bulkhead should be sealed. If you have a decent size hole underneath the section the water will drain away onto the road. It is almost impossible to stop it getting in without some sort of rubber bellows setup. However as water flows downhill and the wheel rotation at the front of the rear tyre is also downwards a small angled plate just above the hole will deflect the majority of the water. These cars are notoriously leaky but by careful tracking down of leaks they can be made dry.
Cheers
Mike
