Weber Jets

I finally balanced my Webers!
331 cu in Ford small block
Comp Cams 282S cam 236/236 @.050 .526 lift 110 duration.
AFR 185 heads
Timing 19 degrees initial with 18 degrees in the distributor 37 total
40 chokes
1.10 holders
65 idle jets
f16 emulsion tubes
190 Airs
165 mains
The transition is smooth all the way and the plugs are medium tan color. A lot of work and combinations. You can run a set of Webers without dumping gas down the carbs by the bucket and having plugs looking like the inside of a coal stove.

If anyone is interested I am selling my inventory of jets in the for sale section.

That is awsome! Good for you. I am still dialing mine in. My last challenge was not enough fuel flow from the pumps.

The more I play with my webers, the more I enjoy them and the less scared I am of them.

I am still a little rich on the idle. Do you have a set of idle jets that you are selling?

John,

Thanks for sharing your data here.. I have a similar engine but much different (milder) camshaft.

I'm curious if you have dyno tested this engine and what your numbers were. Also - what transaxle and gearing are you using and how is the low RPM driveabilty?

Thanks again...
