Looks good. You have to keep your motivation going. Its easy to get burned out. I have found I need to take a break after a bit. When I come back at it after a break I tend to come up with better solutions.I'm getting ready to go through the licensing process so I can get my car on the road and do some tuning, testing, etc. While this makes it sound like I'm almost done....I'm not. I still have hundreds of things on my list to make the car right. For instance, I have a lot of work to do on the doors, the rear end, plus the entire interior. Eventually I will take the car to get painted (I still have decided on a color). But in the meantime, I want the car to look the part as it starts spending more time out of the garage. So, I decided to dress up the white gel coat finish with a set of Mustang stripes. It makes the car more identifiable, and at the same time motivates me to keep working because it's starting to feel like a GT!!!
The doors have been a monumental project for my rookie skills. I think I am finally getting a handle on it though. The hinge work I did made a huge difference on the fit. It also made it much easier to take the doors on and off by myself. Once I had a good fit, I drilled a couple of 1/8" holes in both sides of the hinge to rivet/lock them in place.
