Someone please help me understand this!
As you all know, I peruse eBay looking for stuff that is might help someone or will be interesting to someone. Sometimes it's hard to decide what to post, like the $350.00 R-351 block that already has a sleeve in it. I also look at the kit cars for sale to see what is kicking around in there.
I have been noticing something in the kit car category that has made me scratch my head more than once. But this morning I just had to ask. The three newest postings were for a Ferrari 250 GTO on a 280Z, a Ferrari Daytona on a 'Vette and a Lambo on a Fiero, nothing surprising there. BUT, what I keep noticing, and is true of these three, is that majority of these exotic kit cars are built with AUTOMATICS.
What the #@!! were all of these guys thinking when they started these projects? Now there are some people, who for one reason or another need an automatic and I understand that, but for the most part who wants an automatic sports car? And, when you are starting with a blank sheet of paper, why would choose to go that way?
