Willwood front Uprights

Has anyone used the Willwood pro spindles on a GT40.
can be viewed on Wilwood Engineering - Forged One Piece Steel 2" Drop Spindle

I am building a GT40NZ kit which uses Australian Holden HQ (GM) uprights and from reading the info on king pin angles thought I would go looking for an alternative. The Willwood is 11 degrees from their web site compared to 7.5 for the HQ

Another possiblibility is Ford Sierra which I am told is 10 degrees but have not had it confirmed.

Is there any others worth looking at ????

Has any body used Ford Sierra Uprights ????

Have you checked out Toyota Supra( 94>>>?) front uprights ( Brg in upright ). Good scrub radius-front steer-Ford 5 on 4.5pcd.

Sierra has Struts & are 4 stud.

Thanks JAC MAC

I had looked at Hiace ones but they are a a bit heavy and also they are taller than the HQ which changes the angle of the top and bottom arm Hence the roll centre changes too much.

Can you post pic of the Supra one ???

Note how bottom ball joint is not on common c/l of top joint , this shifts the instant center further outboard.
Also while alloy top w/bone is tempting, inner rubber bush is probably too compliant for our use. May be possible to machine for spherical bush to replace though.
