Just a quick note - we attended a test day at Goodwood today and who should turn up but non other than Win Percy and Tiff Needell.

Tiff Needell was really flying in Chris Lunn's lister Jaguar (shown in the picture above), sliding everywhere and putting in very consistent 1 minute 32 second laps as part of their preperation for this year's revival meeting at Goodwood. Tiff wasn't the only one, Roy Smart recorded a maximum speed of 151 mph at the end of Lavant Straight in his 40, only to have Paul go out and beat it with an astonishing run at 155mph! For those of you that don't know, there is a 90 degree right at the end of the straight and not much run off area, I bow to the Big Cajonas!

Hi Andrew, I agree Tiff and Percy were really flying at goodwood in the lister chevrolet and the ferarri, Roy and Paul were really gunning for a fast lap and a top speed down lavant straight 155.4mph was tops and on hr rated road tyres, what chance have i got on slicks, i bow to the very large cajonas
