Good Morning to all members I have got myself into a confusing Situatation.
I have many sets of cylinder heads all second hand that I have accumalated from the 1960s thru to the late 80s.
I started to catolog them for Sale. But have become confused with the numbering system.
As an Example is a list of some.
289 C6AE 6C24 WF
289 C6AE 6FS
289 C60E K12
289 C60E 5K9
302 C9TE 9D7
302 C80E 9C3
302 C80E 5F15
302 C80E CF17
302 E5TEAB
302 E7TE
All the parts books and specifications data books I have, show the casting numbers as example C6AE-A,B,C,D,E,F etc.
Where or how do you find the - A,B,C,D,E,F etc on the end of the casting number.
Hoping one of our forum members can help as it is driving me nuts.
PS When I finish Cataloging all my 50 years of parts I will give forum members first choice as my Automoblie life is just about over.
