Just a reminder to carefully consider the use of P-style clamps and how you’re routing wires and hoses. The pics, well, pretty much speak for themselves.

While routing and retention are very important - they are not more important that proper sizing of the cables and protection of the system in general by use of Fuseable links / Circuit breakers / Fuses...

Just by the look of the system installed on the rightmost picture, it appears as though the routing and retention were well seen to.. Obviously something was amiss in the sizing and/or protection department...

For the record - I do not use the vinyl coated clamps for anything that's conducting more than 10 amps. I will always use the Rubber lined Adel clamp as shown...
 
The rubber lined Adels are the way to do it. I also use plastic split conduit to group the runs together. However, I keep the main cable from the battery separate from the other groups of wires, just in case there is a short it won't be fed by full battery voltage.
