Gents,

I am needing advice on the correct / best throwout bearing for my ZF-1, 8.25" tripple plate clutch arrangement.
Thanks in advance.

Do you have a clutch "100% to the original spec" or some aftermarket part?
You need to start with the clutch vendor, drawing or similar to get the correct dimensions for your bearing...

There was a print included in the gt40 uncovered book.
The clutch shown there is a twin disc borg & beck (AP?)
It is denoted that a SKF 400943 release bearing is recommended (maybe the same as a std pantera bearing?)
And an adaptor with a contact "ring" of 2,06" dia with 0,09" radius.

Might not help anything at all...

The Safir dual disc clutch uses the Pantera TO bearing. Here is the McLeod part. The bearing comes apart and can be machined down depending upon the application based on the gap / free play you have when the stack is assembled. Don't know if this helps or not.
