Sorry if this is off topic for current GP but it looks like BBC have got F1 back from 2009, and whilst Brundle may keep his slot, James Allan and crew may not. They seem to have ruled out a return for Murray however (like me a bit old now), but we may see Jim Rosenthal back - who ironically left the Beeb for this job anyway, before being sidelined by the smooth haired silver tongued irritating Steve Rider.
Anyhoo, it means a return to non interrupted coverage (no adverts). Yay!:grinf:

Ugly season for italia this new 2008.
The doctor has a kangaroo to beat (dunno really if he can...never seen Casey so fast as he is today,and all know now..it is NOT the bike..),cause Melandri is going to change work...and Ferrari seems in big troubles (sorry, but nowaday I really dislike LH and mister dennis...shall I support alonso?...naah cannot..PLZ HERR SCHIUMI...BRB IN MARANELLOOO.... ).

Red Bull will supply Malaysian race stewards with a detailed technical report after David Coulthard’s accident during Friday morning’s practice session at Sepang. Coulthard’s RB4 sustained what the team described as ‘substantial peripheral damage’ after the car suffered a track rod failure.
The team decided not to run the Scot in the afternoon session whilst they investigated the cause of the accident, and were subsequently requested to meet with race stewards to discuss the crash.
During the meeting, attended by Red Bull’s team principal Christian Horner and a technical representative, the squad were asked to provide a report "verifying that the integrity of the suspension is such that the car should not be deemed 'of dangerous constructions' under Article 2.3 of the 2008 Formula One Technical Regulations."
Stewards have the power to exclude Red Bull if they decide the car does not meet requirements, but the team hope that Coulthard will be back in action on Saturday morning for the final practice session ahead of qualifying for Malaysian Grand Prix

Kovalainen and Hamilton were called before the stewards after suggestions that BMW Sauber’s Nick Heidfeld and Renault’s Fernando Alonso were impeded during their final Q3 runs, when the McLaren drivers were conserving fuel on slowing-down laps, both having completed their final runs.
"The first corners of my last lap went smoothly, but then there were several cars driving very slowly on their in-laps,” said Heidfeld, who qualified seventh, but will now start fifth. “Apparently they had no information that the qualifying was still going on. Before Turn Four I lost a lot of time because both McLarens were cruising on the racing line.
“I think this has cost me about two tenths of a second, which would have meant being third instead of seventh. I just couldn't drive on the line I wanted and, even more importantly, could not brake were I wanted.”
McLaren are not expected to appeal the decision, which means row two on the grid will now be formed by the Toyota of Jarno Trulli and BMW Sauber’s Robert Kubica. Red Bull’s Mark Webber moves up to P6 to join Heidfeld on the third row, while Alonso moves up from P9 to P7

Hammond would be value, and DC's knowledge would give valuable insight to what goes on behind the scene.
Speaking of DC he was heard by most of Melbourne it seems giving Airline staff a gobfull when his flight out was delayed two hours.

The Australian newspaper has just published the TV ratings for the Australian Grand Prix and revealed that Channel Ten’s GP telecast was the 11th highest rating programme of the week, with 1.2m viewers across Australia. Victoria led the way with an audience of 627,000, but there were only 199,000 viewers in New South Wales, a figure all but matched in South Australia, underlining the racing heritage of Adelaide. Queensland provided 173,000 viewers while Western Australia managed just 79,000. Based on percentages of the population, the idea of holding a race in Sydney is thus the least logical place for a Grand Prix.
It is also worth noting that the F1 was outrated by programmes such as Dance Australia, Border Security, Kitchen Nightmares, The Biggest Loser weigh-in and Bondi Rescue.
