Did you mean the GT40 model was the first monocoque car generally speaking or did you mean 1079 was first monocoque car?
I'm sure you meant GT40 model period...
PS if you re-used 70% of that body, your bodywork guy must have been a genius and perhaps why it's heavier now than then...
