Used pop rivets to hold flares till glass kicked off.

Feathered edges and glassed seam.

Finished the flairs about 3 weeks ago, want to get some primer on but it just keeps raining. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Could you throw a completed seat on a scale, when they're done? I'm curious about weight...fiberglass vs. aluminum.

Your car looks great, and progressing nicely. How big a wheel/tire can you fit in the rear with the Gulf flares?

Finished the seats tonight and they weight 12 lbs. I made them out of the 1/8" marine grade alum. that I had left over from the floor pan.

I have 10"x15" vintage wheels with 295/50/15. I think with the right offset or backspace you could probably get 12" to fit.
