Anyone have RaceCarReplica GT40 G50 Trans Picture, in an actual car?

Been crusing the site, a lot of good info. Yet, not able to find the exact info I am looking for. I bought a RCR gt40 from Fran Hall. Getting ready to bolt in the power plant mounts, however ther seems to be a cleareance issue with the shift fork and the cross memeber in the back. I have ask for some pics from Fran, however it does not seem he has any. Does anyone have a picture of a G50 4 speed in their GT40. The good rule of thumb, measure twice drill once, is ok, however I like to see a picture before I drill. Any help would be great.

I just re-read your post..

As far as I know there was not a G50 4 speed transaxle. Are you sure you don't have the 930 transaxle?

By the way - Welcome to GT40s!!!! :)

I'm also guessing you have a 4 speed 930 trans which has the large actuator arm on the top, the G50 has no such arm. The RCR 930 rear cross brace is notched to clear it.

Yep, you are right. I have a 930 trans. That is why I am having clearence issues. Fran at Race cars corrected my lack of knowledge. Thanks Fran you are the man. He was able to trade my old parts for the correct parts and hopefully we will be on our way.

Yep, I was told the trans was a G50, however it is a 930. Lack of knowledge could have been costly. Thanks
