He doesn't know it yet, but he is. Paying due regard for his love of fine wines and good food, I know that he has had a poor experience recently courtesy of Heston Blumenthal (triple Michelin) so I am going to suggest a pukka restaurant in New York.

I also believe they do a 'Prix Fixe' menu if he finds this a little steep for his flight pay...

There are forum points available if you can guess the diner. And yes, this is lunch for 6.

The "Bridge" is blue. He should know, he owns it, lock stock and barrel...

Yeah but, he doesn't own the actual Bridge mate, anyway, it's red & white. Oh yes, I see where you're coming from.

David... is that the name of the diner? Mr Froggy Legg?

What is your opinion of my choice of restaurant judging by the bill mate? Are you up for it? Cheap flight too?

My other favourite was Brasserie Cognac de Monsieur Ballon on Broadway, which was quite close to the Warwick Hotel. However quite - in fact very- expensive and I had to save my lunch and dinner allowance for a whole day to dine there.....
And no rough types,4x4 drivers, or truckers...................

Indeed - La Grenouille - quite classy but no open neck shirts (though they used to keep some ties just in case). I really must get out of this rut called domesticity here in England and go and start visiting these places again.
Seattle is a bit rougher but some of the restaurants are better.
