RCR's Chassis built for the movie

This is one of the 15 we built for the Need for Speed movie,
Note the steel roof and the big chain...
This is one of the cars that was swung, rolled, crashed and dropped

For 25K, its not a good deal endless you are looking for an original movie prop. No drive train or body just the chassis, You can almost buy a new one from RCR for that price.

I agree completely, I think they are crazy to even try to sell it for much of anything, unless as you stated, for a movie prop.

I just linked it, because it just mentioned RCR's chassis. LOL,, I already have an SLC I need to start building in a couple of months.

wow, $25K to undo someone else's fabrication AND crash damage...

Much, much better to pay Fran for the real article.

Good news for me! A little googling and searching lead me to this thread. I now own the chassis, as the body went for repairs and to be sold. The German seller also has the yellow replica in good order. He is motivated to sell. PM for info. A bit pricey and exotic looking for me, as I only wanted a chassis.
I have no idea what body I will use, but for now getting the front uprights and a control arm are in order. Fran, I'll email you for pricing and availability.
Bottom line, the chassis held up great, and is repairable. Is the wheelbase the same?

If I'm understanding you post correctly, Congratulations on your purchase, looking forward to see what life you bring back to this chassis. Please keep us posted.
