'X' number of hours...even if one basked in 72F temps and had decent air to breathe the whole time.
Larry,
I'll drop the flipancy.
Frankly, with what is going on in Aus & Europe with boat people,
something is deeply, deeply wrong with what all our politicians are complicite in. At the best interpretation it is negligent... But i fear that to right the geographical wrongs would make Afghan look like a weekend away.

The same can be said for 97.9% of ALL politicians 'round the world 'far as I'm concerned, Charlie...not just those you've mentioned. And that applies regardless of 'party'.
IMHO the only thing most politicians are truly interested in is staying in office...'grabbing every personal 'perk' they can get their hands on while there and trying to create more...and shamelessly enriching themselves by 'influence pedaling' (legal and/or otherwise) thru the 'contacts'/'alliances' they make while in office. The Clinton Foundation in general and the "speaking fees" B & H command are THEE prime examples/illustrations of that currently...but, certainly not the only ones.
Who was it who said, "It has been said that politics is the second oldest profession. I have learned that it bears a striking resemblance to the first"? Aaaaaaah, yes...I remember now. And he was 100% CORRECT.
