Welcome to GT40S Jack. That’s a beautiful GTR. Please start a build or rebuild thread and I will move these pictures in there as well. We love pictures. Any information and ideas you have will certainly be welcome.

Regards Brian

Jack welcome and congratulations on a beautiful car. H joined us for a GT get together and mountain drive while he worked there in 2019 and opened the shop up to us for a visit. I think he had just finished the car then.

This is the build for the switches
Back lit switches that toggle the overhead lights interior, fog lights exterior, dimmer control for the instruments, defrost rear window and emergency hazards. The seatbelt light remains illuminated until you snap the belt in. The engine light is on until the engine is running.

I saw that car many times as it was progressing along. It is the best build out there, obviously. Awesome. Mine is the same color combo, because, well, it's perfect. I told H I was apprehensive about picking/stealing the same color and he said he would consider it a compliment, and the rest, as they say, is history!

I didn't know about the puddle lights. That is really cool.

Just adding more progress pics. I have custom made floor mats that are emulate the Ford GT floor mats and also working on installing pedals that are matching as well.

I have the brake and clutch pedal machined and back plated to screw right on the Tilton assembly and it seams like everybody uses.
The dead pedal mounts to the floor and the gas pedal is easily modified to accept the same Tilton assembly.
I’m going to machine the dead pedal and the gas pedal next. The brake and clutch plate is an obsolete parts and the sellers want your first born for it. The dead pedal and gas is readily available through Ford motor co. sources and not very expensive.
Please message me if you have any interest.
