    HUD - Heads Up Display

Weren't there a few Nissan SSS Pulsars with HUD's? Couldn't somebody rip the necessary parts from the Pulsar and rewire to the ECU, since every 40 with an ECU has an aftermarket one the electronic setup mightn't be too bad, but physically might be a pain. Just my 2c... Adrian

Dyno results for Levy Racing Engine

Bloody hell, looks like one mean engine, well done and good work to Gordon too. What kind of drivetrain are you looking at running with all that torque and hp? By the looks of things most of the guys have trouble over 350-400hp... 700hp, wow! Well done again, good luck for the future, Adrian

    Talk about deep pockets....

Yeah I saw that too actually, it was in Wheels. It ended up being somehting like 11.2 for the Enzo and 11.1 for the F1, and the Enzo won to 60km/h simply from traction. Really though, if a car is deemed 'better' because it is 0.1 seconds quicker down the 1/4 time it's a bit silly... Me...

    How about a GT40 head count ?

Although not an owner yet, very soon (8 years) I plan to own an RF, so if you do this survey again in 8 years you can include me! (assuming of course I'm in America at the time...) [ May 28, 2003: Message edited by: Adrian ]

    Sloping driveway - help !?!?

I'm probably too late... But don't forget, measure and make the jig with you in the car - if it comes down to millimetres, the extra weight with you (and/or somebody else) in the car could make the difference. Just get somebody else to measure it all up for you... Cheers, Adrian

    Headers--I hope

Mate I think you are doing it correctly, just the actual link seems to be not working. Some of the guru guys on the forum could help you out.

    Limited slip

That RF one is a Quaife ATB, I believe.

    Confused...

Sorry guys, I'm a little slow on the uptake. A few days ago I read Andre 40's post on CAV - Cape(town) Advanced Vehicles. Yet just now I'm reading California Advanced Vehicles. Which one is the famous, much-sought variety, I'm a little confused, or are they one and the same?

    The New Ford GT

    I'll say 3450.

    Paint

The most expensive paint jobs generally have full-body airbrushing, a very meticulous task, on top of very thick, expensive paint. Always glad to be proven wrong, but I find it hard to believe that it would cost US20,000, unless, as Chris L pointed out, Leo Da Vinci did it....

    Fell asleep in GT40

Who needs a house? Sleep in there, cook food over the engine, drive places, eat if you must, get boiling water from the radiator... the possibilities!!!

    Grassroots Racing - GT40 Snub??

Lynn, you are completely right, but on the upside of things, this means less people know about the GT40 kits, so greater exclusivity and more WOW factor when the public see you cruising along. Still not too impressed with leaving the 40 out, but there is a little good in there I guess. Adrian
