Jeffs RCR GT40 MK1 Build

Good start on unpacking today, Kudos to the RCR crew for a great job packing everything up for shipping, no damage.

I guess I missed how you got from taking legal action to delivery of the car? Congratulations never the less and good luck with the build now.

Front end stripped, on to the back, hope to have a tub flipping party on Saturday. Randy had a good suggestion to just set the tub on its side, will use that as a back up plan.
I'm going to post here and on Facebook for those that don't use Facebook, and also to contribute to the searchable archive.
Regards
Jeff

Tub flipping tomorrow, good thing I ran out of parts to take off, bench is full!!!
Consider holding off reassembling the suspension. It is easier to figure out your engine mounts with easy access.

Also, if you have a +2 or +4 rear suspension, consider hogging out the lower four link openings before undercoating. If I remember correctly, about 1/4” outboard and 1/4” down.

Waiting for some Raptor coating supplies, so was test fitting my exhaust, RCR snakes to 302/347, noted the same issue others have had, i.e., the head flange prevents spark plug removal. So I confirmed I can use the inner of the two mounting holes, this would allow me to machine off the mounting ear on the flange which prevents spark plug removal. I don't want to remove exhaust to change plugs. What does the collective think?
