News sources are reporting that the new Chevrolet Corvette will be mid engined...
Zero to 60mph in under 3 seconds.
Pretty good looking, too.
Cheers!

I said “Good day, Sir” to LB loooong ago...much more peaceful around here that way! The “Ignore” feature is highly recommended.
Please don’t make him go away, though... he amuses me now and then.
Cheers to you, LB !????
One of our forum members owned 1040 up until a few years ago. Wish I could remember his name!
What really grabbed my attention re: P1040 was the stance....it looked like it was moving at 140MPH even when it was sitting still!
Thanks for posting this, Ron!
Cheers!

Well, I surved into the Goblin website...was not expecting what I found.
Looks like what I call a "skeleton car"...visible tube frame with exterior body panels. I had envisioned the transverse transaxle assembly in a replica...any idea if that's been done?
Cheers!
Doug
"...then i have to decide if i want to keep the VW engine or go for a 2.3 Chevy turbo FWD mid engine conversion like the goblin kit cars."
I have thought for a long time that there ought to be a demand for using the various transverse front-wheel-drive platforms. It seems like a great way to...
It seems that oil leakage by the FE family of engines is a frequent complaint...so frequent that it'd be easy to presume that they ALL do it!
Cheers!

It's the combination of the wire wheels and the unusual green (is it Linden Green?) color, IMHO. GREAT look about it!!!!!
...or were you talking about the dark blue 40?
Cheers from Doug
I don’t post in the Climate Change thread either!
I can’t imagine what there is about Trump ****** ********* ************ ********** ********* if you ask me...but, hey, what do I know?
Great to hear you’re still around, Rod!!!
Ron, I notice I'm seeing posts by people I placed on "Ignored" status when we had the old VB software. Is it possible this is another deficit of this new software? I haven't tried to "Ignore" anyone since the new software was installed...but I have gotten posts from members I did ignore...along...
All that "political harangue and dueling personal attacks" would be hidden by "The Pub"...you'd have go get a password from an admin to even get in to the Pub, as I understand it.
Why would you want to deprive forum members of an opportunity for interaction if we obviously enjoyed it...you...
Cheers to you, Chris!
I thought I had done as you suggested when I authored this very thread...check out the thread title and the content of the first post and see if you don’t agree with me.
There's apparently a technical issue that keeps the forum admins from setting up the forum's permissions.....should have been done by the party who sold and installed the software, if you ask me. Randy's making heroic efforts, I'm sure...he's got to be tired of hearing from me...but it WAS a...
The solution is a technical issue, as I understand it...related to the "program" that allows us to have these discussions.
Regarding the "throw your hat in the ring"...thought I had...I have been pretty vocal about what was a very heavily populated and read thread in the past. Other than...
I get the idea that the "Pub" was to be access by request only....you would not have to read what anyone posted there (and probably couldn't without being given access) unless you searched it out and requested access, which it sounds like you would not be doing.
To each his own....
Cheers!
Doug
I assure you, Randy, that my comment was in no way meant to "blame" you for the delay...I've heard about the programming issues and understand that additional help is needed to fix this.
When the call for $$$$ to change over to this new forum came, I stepped up and sent money, believing that...
I participate in a variety of forums, and recently discovered one which has a forum for “Controversial topics”.
If you, like me, are by now firmly convinced that the long rumored establishment of “The Pub”, which was suppose to be a place where we could discuss those topics, is never going to...
