Anybody going next year?

I've just been given the nod for 2010 - thats 11 yrs with Audi at Le Mans.(if you include Bentley).
Pete- you were talking about coming next year.....

Yes indeed we are James. I think this will call for a trip to Castle Bolognese and top up with Millenium Riserve from Guiseppe Marabini's caves over this coming winter. http://www.fattoriacamerone.it/en/racconti.html
Now - a question - do we camp,(no puns!!) use the bungalow at the airport, or slum it in a hotel ? It's a really good excuse for a trip to Italy anyway.

David,
Sound's good to me.
I prefer to slum it in hotels ~ try the Grande Hotel Baglioni next time your out near Bologna.
Only £120/night the last time I was there. Same price as the Thistle at Heathrow !

Its still on the bucket list David but will depend on how business is. Congrats on Audi. You must be doing something right.

McLaren MP4-12C, the new supercar from Big Ron will obviously end up running at the 24h but 2010 might be a bit early for it. More like 2011. The last time for one of Rons cars was under the management of Charly Lamm with the F1GTR in the Schnitzer BMW team and also in the Gulf team Davidoff (the engine was a Beemer) in 1997. They didn't win - Joest did with the Porsche WSC-95 (later to become the LMP1-98s.)so maybe Ron would like to settle some scores.
