Last week, my wife pointed out that now that her 2013 Subaru has been sent to the knacker's yard, our daily drivers are all American built cars. Then a few days ago, I realized that not only are the cars all American, their colors are red, white, and blue.
The 2018 Mustang's blue color was intentional. I got the red 2019 Ford F-150 in May after mice destroyed the wiring in my Tundra. It was the only F-150 I could find in within 100 miles that was reasonably priced. My wife got the 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV a couple of weeks ago. It was the only Bolt available in the area that didn't come with premium features and a dealer markup (it wasn't officially listed for sale because it was waiting for a replacement recall battery).
