Finally we begin…

Hi All- I have had my GT-R for about a year now. I started with getting it off the ground and the first bit of low hanging fruit was the calipers. So off they came and out to powder coating. Got them back and reinstalled them but then life threw me a bit of a curve ball and I ended up sorting through some issues as well as changing jobs. I have finally settled into a rhythm and have decided to take a more methodical approach to this thing. I am a complete novice but willing to learn. Unfortunately I’m a hands on visual learner so reading build logs can only get me so far. The plan is bite off a piece….learn as much as I can about it….execute it and move on. So here I am thinking of starting with brakes but I have learned that I need to get the fuel tank buttoned up so I can run the lines in front of the tank across the front firewall and then under the tank. I have read a few build logs and made as much sense of the social instructions that I can but I’m looking for advice. How should I approach this thing? Should I pull the tank completely out of the car. It looks like I need to remove some body work at the nose to get it out. I believe there is a hole at the back of the tank for one of the pumps. I could pull the tank and install the pumps slide it back in place bolt the cover in front of it and move on or am I really underestimating this thing? Any advice and instruction is appreciated. Pictures are extremely helpful to me as well. Thanks in advance for you thought and time. I will add pictures as I go.

Ken - It would probably help if you started out with a level-set on the car. Have the doors been hung? Has the bodywork been done?
