Very bad delamination there.
Probably poor maintenance rather than a design fault.

There was a couple of nuts missing and the ring seal looks tattered !

Cant have been very good or he would have remembered to close the bum bay doors after dropping his load!

Possible gas leaks could be very hazardous. It looks like the emergency breathing apparatus has been deployed on standby.

I recall two Royal Navy Buccaneers bounced us and then came alongside and the guy in the no.2 aircraft rear seat had made safe his seat, unbuckled and 'mooned' at our aeroplane. He hadn't reckoned on the fact, or hadn't been briefed, that we had the Rear Admiral-Med Fleet Naples as a guest on board our aeroplane.
