James,

Yet another thankyou for setting us all on the straight and narrow.... have you considered writing a book on your research? your depth of knowledge is scary. ;-)

Ah, let me see because evidently I have a short memory.
The Corsair heater dash plate, and a couple of Singleton's eyeball surrounds.

I still have those Chevy rear lights which I purchased on your advice, I am using Ford parts, so do you want these ones ?
And how much help and parts did I give you ?

Regardless, I maintain my point and you are incorrect concerning these gauges.

You do indeed have a short memory. Try again.
It comes to all of us with age.
I still have the handwritten notes i made at the time.
I think if you take the time to review the whole thread,
you will see that it was aimed at owners obtaining the 1970's version of the CAV Ammeter and adapting it for use, to replicate the original. In my opinion, this was useful to others, especially judging by how many other forum members and guests visited the thread. I dont believe anyone was stomping all over your ground.

Andy ,
Please publish the notes which you so carefully kept, I am intrigued to know what I paid you for and I want to give you the credit for finding such accurate parts.

Agreed that these past forty odd posts are about painting an ammeter in red paint and making Chinese hats out of bits of plastic to make fake gauges.

And most definitely not my territory.
