So, I don't know what the dimensions of the engine are since it uses a custom block, but i would guess typical BBC size. I hear they have a street version of this as well...

Just found a HotRod mag article about this engine. So, the physical dimensions of the engine are quite large...

When you stop to think about it, billet block, crank, CNC heads, top end parts, 2150hp custom monster engine, you would have a hard time duplicating it for two or three times the money.

Nah, probably making a 70lb billet engine block in a CNC out of a 350lb block of aluminum.

Al is exactly right. Around here, Dart, LSM, Moran, or CN all start at over $10,000.00 for the block, with many extra cost options to choose from. The size of Sonny's block, would probably be a 500 pound billet. Sonny sure builds some trick stuff however.
