We have one of the first to come in and probably the first on the road that wasn't a Demo car. If you have any specific questions, you can e-mail me offline. We have about 9000 miles on it, primarily longer trips 400 miles or more each way. Ours is for sale, so I won't get all glossy, but both I and my wife really enjoy it. Like many things, as it becomes broken in, the sounds are more sweet. I am 6'2" (only 150-160 lbs.) and when I tried on the first Coupe (the impounded one) at it's first appearance, I thought it "snug". I do however like "snug" cars, so it wasn't an issue. But after putting that many miles behind the wheel...it seems to be pretty roomy. We travel with our Jack Russell(s) and luggage and everyone seems to enjoy it immensely. But then I probably wouldn't notice if they didn't,LOL.

I actually just bought one, used with 3000 miles, Roush 427r motor and T56 tranny. I kind of bought it spur of the moment and was looking for info on the cars in general. I appreciate the feedback Woodz

Ron, They are still in production. However production, lately, has been focused on the GT40. Of course the MKIIIs are still being mfg. too. It's my understanding that they don't want production numbers too large. I'm sure the same will happen with the GT40s once production levels are up some. I also "heard" that they were addressing some issues that some owners had experienced.........and then there's the CS connection. I'm not sure exactly how much that plays into it.

Woodz,

Wasn't your coupe the one I sat in at R&G last year? I'm 6'4" tall, 230lbs and I didn't think the fit was too snug at all. Frankly it seemed very comfortable, more comfortable than my Cobra for sure!

I got it

That was us. I recall you trying it on. Are you going to London this week?

The Real question is " are you coming to Run and Gun this year??" You saw the event first hand and this year is the 20th anniversary of the longest running major kit car event in America. You have to be there!rockonsmile

I won't be making it to London but I'm trying like heck to get scheduled for R&G!

Chuck - great looking coupe, but you do have way to many toys! I've got some space if you need to store a few of the toys. I promise to take them out every now and then to keep the "blood" flowing in 'em!
