Anyone built a Lonestar Gt40 with Focus donor?

I saw their website which states you can build a Gt40 for about $20K with a donor from the Ford Focus. I haven't read about anyone building one though. Anyone here built one, and if so, what were the results?

It's not at all accurate to a GT40 other than having the engine in the back

I built a Lonestar Cobra not a bad kit for the money.They were first going to build a 40 W/ a V8 but went with the focus donor to keep cost down.I saw the one V8 kit that was built It was sweet.

I visited the Lonestar plant in Texas several years ago to look at their car. I didn't like the one piece fiberglass body and the puny engine. I suggested to them that I'd be interested if they offered a small block V8 option and a three piece body option. They never responded, so I went on evaluating kits and eventually decided on the RCR GT40 as the best option.

I later got a deal on a KVA which I own now!
