AP 6-Pots

Hi all -

A friend of mine has a set of 4 6-Pot AP Calipers for sale and so I thought I'd post details here in case it's of interest. He is not a forum member so if anyone wants more details, I'll just forward contact details if that's ok.

They are GT/ISRS/Sports Prototype spec and are used but in good condition.

The part numbers should someone want to look them up are:

CP4240/45S7M - CP4240 - 45S7M

CP4240/44S7M - CP4240-44S7M

CP4240/37S7M
CP4240/36S7M

One of the calipers will need a cross over pipe because of transportation damage.

Were off a Porsche GT3 I believe.

Would probably be worth sticking a new set of seals in too.

Right - I've checked with owner and he's looking for about £1500 'ish for the set of 4.

He also has some Gold Brembo GT3 calipers which he'll split into pairs at apprx £600/pair.

Again, if someone wants to progess any further, I'll pm contact details.

does he happen to know the porsche part numbers for the brembos ?

Reason I ask is that I want to know if the GT3 calipers are 996 or 997, and if they are 996, are they early or late (mkI or mkII).
This affects the pad and disc sizes they can be used with.

A bit more info re the calipers -

The Brembo items are 'Gold series - 2003 GT3 RS Race version' from a racecar - not roadcar - pics below - together with a pic of the AP items.
