Are BRM wheels available in sizes other than 15"?

No, not original wheels.
But there are several more or less accurate replicas in both 16" and 17" at least.
(As well as 15" of course)
In a wide range of prices.
Knock offs or with different bolt patterns i believe, at least Ford patterns..
Depends just on what you want and how much you are willing to pay...
Some are very good !
Pity the prices are as well...
Then again a original might cost you very roughly something like $1000/ a piece.(new)

But has Ps not BRM´s as well ?
Image wheels in England has them.
I think there are several makers there too.
Look up the club, and ask Ken saunders, he made some him self from casting off the centres from a original wheel, then made it up using modern wheel half sections; bolted but on the back side: invisible.
Some australian guys might be able to help with contact addressess as i remember there are a few makers in those parts of the world.
In the US there are several, can´t just remember right now.

There are no street legal 15inch tires wide enough for 12in rears that will give you enough ride height. There are treaded vintage racing Goodyears,Avon's, and Dunlops that will fit and work. A good source is Roger Kraus Tires 510 582 5031. These tires are not DOT. They also carry 16 and 17 inch DOT tires that will fit and work.

PS Engineering do BRMs as I bought a set off Phil a couple of years back. I distinctly got the impression that he does 16 and 17 inch rims as well as 15. However on the BRM side he makes a 2 peice rim. This is a spun rim with a cast centre. The quality of work is excellent and when placed on a engineers surface back here they were accurate and true. Compare that to some Image wheels I have had.....
The BRMs from PS are quite a bit lighter than his Halibrand one peice cast wheels, but the halibrands look fantastic. they do cost more than the BRMs.
Only snag with PS Engineering is that he is a one man band (and a Lola T70 freak) and is VERY DIFFICULT to make contact with. I only got him at 7 to 7:30 his time in the morning. I know some friends of mine are currently despairing of ever getting in contact with him. Once he goes into the workshop the telephone might never have been invented. Nice guy though...

When Julian talked with John Wisher about his castings for BRMs, John was only interested in selling the rough castings with no rims. You would then need to persuade Image to sell them to you separately and they wouldn't and then you need to have them all machined up. We costed it up and it was going to be as expensive as PS engineering.

We do BRM knock on wheels. We make 16 inch wheels for the same reason you discussed, no decent tyres available at 15 inch. I have been asked to make a set of 17 inch wheels and this would not cause any problems as the castings have enough meat and the rims are available.

Jongbloed Racing Wheels lists BRM knock off style 3 piece wheels in 15 and 16 inch diameters.
I found a NOS set in 16 inch and had Jonbloed spin new 17 inch rims for the rears. My centers are aluminum. I believe his new wheels use a magnesium center and spun aluminum rims. http://www.jongbloedwheels.com/jong_vintage.html

I got them NOS from a guy in Texas who purchased them in the early 90's for a GT40. He never got the GT40, and they layed in his attic for 10 years in the boxes. Great price, couldn't pass them up. I sent the rears back to Bill to have the rims upsized to 17" (from 16). The aluminum on the rims is .1 to .150 thick. We'll see how they hold up on the street. I don't plan on running really low profile tires, so the sidewalls should provide a little cushion. I doubt they would win in an argument with a curb though. If they do hit something, they will bend where a cast wheel would probably break.

They make some nice wheels. I called them last year and spoke with the owner at length about getting some wheels for the GT40.
However, he felt that his wheels would not stand up to street use where they would encounter holes, ruts, and other such things. Or, at least he felt that they would eventually become bent sooner or later. Is this the feeling he gave you?
He did indicate for track work they'd be excellent and they are light weight with great looks.
