Ball joints

I was wondering If anyone can tell me where I can purchase ball joints with the male stem on them. I am refering to the kind that thread into the A arms, for caster adjustment. So far all I can locate are the press in type, the bolt in type,or the type that the body threads into the A arm. The ones I am lookinf for almost resemble a tie rod end. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Steve;

Hi Steve:

Port City Racing 1-800-472-2464

Coleman racing products 1-906-863-8945

They both have screw in ball joints

For Castor Adjustment?? I think your referring to -Rod Ends-Heim Joints-Rose Joints, all the same thing depending on your location. Coleman as above should have them.

Maybe, In most cases those are simply large tie rod ends of light trucks/vans like ford transit etc, but until Steve comes back with further info/clarafication we are only guessing.

The ball joints I am referring to are actually for camber (not caster) adjusting . Sorry about the mistake. The ones I am looking for have the small taper on the end that engages the front spindle (knuckle), and the other mount is a threaded male stem that engages the A arm. I hope this is a little clearer. I am in the design stages of a scratch build, and can' t design A arms untill I decide on the type of ball joint I wish to use .
Thanks Steve;

Is this what you mean? In the UK they are used at the end of the top wishbone on many kit cars. They are the steering drag link on the early Ford Transit van. Rally Design in the UK sell them.
Cheers
Mike
