Body works 3D wild body

Hello everyone, I hope the passion is still going strong for all of you.

I’m making good progress with my 3D modeling before moving on to the serious stuff. I’m looking for a 3D model of the bodywork, but specifically the wide-body version of the Mk1, not the narrow one.

I already have several 3D models, but it’s hard to be sure whether they’re the wide or narrow version. It’s becoming important for me to get the right one, as the mounting points of the body will confirm whether my chassis is accurate or if I’ve completely messed it up .

Does anyone have this available? Thanks everyone!

For the Mk1 style cars, there are at least three rear track widths, narrow, +2 and +4. The wheel wells were quite varied as well. Some covered part of the tire, some had slight lips on the openings, some the bulge went only to the top of the rocker panels, others included flaring the aft end of the rocker panel, etc. The additional width could be control arm length, tire size or a combination of both.

Because of all the variations, you might want to pick a particular car to replicate such as the those built by JWAE.
