Chassis plans - Added Detail

I have searched the forum but did not see anything so I apologize if this has actually been addressed.

I am doing a scratch build from the common plans that are out there ( I personally got mine from the Lotus7/Locost forum but they are all over).

I am looking for any info that provides a bit more detail, ie; angle references to verify against the lengths given as a lot of them are less than clear or accurate to what is depicted.

We are spending more time trying to decipher than we are anything else. I feel like an Egyptologist trying to translate hieroglyphics.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Adding a small sample so it is clear which plans I am referencing.

If you import a modified screenshot of whatever image your trying to find angle you can get a pretty accurate measurement once your scale the imported image to a cad program of choice.

That’s what I’m doing with my plans. It may not be perfect but then again whose plans are? Close and symmetrical is what important. At least for the suspension areas. Everywhere else can probably be within a few degrees.

I’m currently making a wood mock up so I can set my body panels on and see how accurate these plans are for my body. From there I can adjust and potentially have a frame made of steel afterwards.

Orrrrrrr I could just buy one. But then I miss out on the “fun” of building one. So many things to weight.
