Okay, so I'm starting to get nervous, THREE WEEKS THREE WEEKS, at least thats what I guessing. I built a two car garage specifically to do this build and it will be finished with it in a couple of days. I have a 4 post lift to go in when thats done and I am wondering about which aircompressor to get.

Since I went with the deluxe kit, most all of the stuff is coming with the package.

Who went to pick up and how much space in the trailer did you need. I have a 24' job with some storage up front. What I am going to wonder about is if I need to take the pickup or my wifes Hummer to haul it back. also did you need to have the tires in hand prior to or what??

I guess it is a good thing that Frans been busy and not sent me any pictures of the work going on. Heck I almost thought ... naw lets not.

Thanks guys.

I still need to get ya'll local to me in DFW area over en masse. Maybe with the car here that will happen.:chug:

Marc, congratulations. How old is the concrete floor. I was advised I had to wait approx. 30 days for the concrete to cure prior to intsalling my lift. Just an FYI.

Garage started Thanksgiving. no problem there. the spec on the 4 post said 4-6 in c concrete 3000# covered that too. I will have pics soon.

Marc,

When my SL-C was delivered all of the extra stuff for the initial shipment was packed inside of the car (except the CF wing). So I would guess that you could use the Hummer. I towed my Viper to and from the track with an H2 that I had at the time so shouldn't be a problem with this lightweight.

Of course, obligatory photos upon arrival!

When I picked up my SLC I used a 24' trailer. I needed some of the extra space for the drivetrain parts, and whatever wasn't already inside the car.

I think Fran needs the tires and wheels ahead of time, so they can be used to roll the car on- check with him to confirm.

We had a great time bringing the car back home, and I recommend it if you can make the trip.

Thanks Guys,
I look forward to going and meeting Fran and seeing the shop. You all should hand it to yourselves, You were all part of my buying decision to go with RCR. I have to admit dropping the kind of money to buy something like this had me at 9.5 on the schfinkter (sic)factor. I have not see this car yet except for a competitor in england when was there. I have to admit that I read nearly every part of this BBS to make me satisified I was gonna be okay. Thanks for your honesty and information. I owe all of you a toast.

couple weeks down, still no pics, Fran's been out for family challenges, Gonna start planning for end of the month. Thank g-d this is the short month. I'm starting to get a nervous tick and my wife thinks I have restless leg syndrome, but I can't tell her the truth. My new garage is one step away from being finished (connection of new elec panel for the juice) I will get the pictures formed up and put them in a build log. Yall would kill me if I did't do one. Already setup the four post lift to work on one of the other cars. I just hope the weather will be clear for the end of the month. Im not looking forward to dancing home in the snow.

Wow, 4 post lift! I wish i lived a little closer so i could push my SLC there.
Let me know when you expect delivery, i'd like to stop by.
