Crankshaft front seal

Does anyone know the correct part number for the early type seal that installs from the rear of the front cover on a 289

Everyone has the later one but finding the early one is not easy

I have found this on the internerd (National 2942)

Can anyone confirm it is the correct one???

Thats the one. The front fitting one has the flange on it.

I have an early type front cover on a job I am doing and have no reason to go to a later one as it is in good condition.

I have ordered one today - not that common is Australia but have one on order from another state.

I would have got one on eBay but paying around $20 for a $7 or $8 seal doesn't add up in my book
