Driveshaft Suppliers

Hi All

I managed to snap one of my driveshafts on Saturday morning (right in the middle of town, always the way!!!). Does anyone know any suppliers in the UK who produce replacements. I have a Renault 21 gearbox with Ford Granada hubs. The splines on each end of the shaft that locate into the adapters have 25 teeth if that helps. The length of the shaft is about 460mm. Any advice would be great.

Give Recoprop in Luton, Beds a try, they do a fair bit of `one off` work and should be able to help.

I've had driveshafts from him that were of a good quality.

MDA have just ordered a batch or are just about to order a batch of Boron (is that hopw you spell it?) shafts which will fit your application by the description given above. The high BHP and high Torque guys within the club seem to give them the thumbs up for beefiness! Why pay for low quantity shafts when I think MDA order about 50 at a time?
