351 Windsor stroked to 408 for sale.
This engine was built by Dave Whitehurst to his usual exacting specs, and is said by him to produce 490 BHP with 480ft'lbs of torque. (the history of the engine is fully checkable with Dave Whitehurst) The engine was originally fitted to a Mustang, but got the owner into so much trouble, he took it out! The engine has done just 1,800 miles from new. Any inspection welcome. Am happy to strip the engine for your inspection. c/w ali flywheel, Monster clutch and hi-torque starter (and 950cfm carb!!!!)
I'm pretty sure this engine will eat most Renault gearboxes alive, so please bear in mind this will (probably) have to be part of an upgrade for most cars.
For Dave to build an engine of this spec, I've been told would cost the best part of 10K
Am looking for sensible offers.
