I just bought the new 'supercar' issue of EVO. IMO, EVO is the best written and most objective auto mag in the business. In general, I find most British car mags don't think too highly of American cars.
In summary, they absolutely loved the Ford GT. They don't think there is another car that can be driven so fast so easily out there. They compared directly compared it to the Ferrari 360 back to back and they don't see any aspect of the Ferrari that is better. I will post some direct quotes later.
I was doubting the GT for a bit, but the more and more I read about it, it seems hard to beat. I want one ever os badly. I only wish the car were closer to $100K. Maybe I'll pick up a used one on 5 years or so. I guess my viper GTS will have to do for the time being.
