Thanks to RWoerz for sharing the blueprints of the gear shift. One of the drawings made me wonder, did the shift nob always have a GT badge on the top? It not on the blueprint, but I have an original photo where you can clearly see the badge. Does anybody know how many cars were build with this gearshift nob? I enclose a detailed photo of GT40P1000 with the gearshift badge as well as a detailed shot of my restoration of the same car.
