So just starting out and compling a list of parts.ive seen quite a few people using the granada hub carriers .5 stud etc.how do these compare to later uprights hubs etc .are they still avaliable ?
Thanks
Have a look at these. Stronger than Granada and better kpi. Standard or 2" drop (prob best for 40). Front or rear mount steering arm. Range of 4 and 5 bolt hubs and lots of brake options.
Designed for increased strength, minimized weight, improved handling, and increased braking capacity on kitcars, street rods, drag cars and other custom / competition applications using Mustang ll suspension geometry. Features:- High Strength - one piece…
With those wilwood spindles you only need to calculate the suspension geometry, instead of using the brilliant SGT setup, cut and fit new suspension arms brackets and weld in the new locations, build new arms top and lower. Reposition steering rack and test all for bumpsteer and finetune the suspension. SGT suspension setup is road and 1000s of miles racetested. But hey....
Corvette C5 ally uprights front and rear is also an option if going the route of chopping off all suspension points to start over reinventing the suspension that the Jaguar suspension department said was spot on given the numbers, and dont change a thing if thats what you have!
I’d stick to a tried and tested route
